How to Tell If an AI Tool Review Is Trustworthy
Most "AI tool reviews" online just say a product is powerful and easy to use, without actually helping you decide anything. Before you act on any review — including ours — run it through this checklist.
A trustworthy review should answer these 8 questions
- What is the tool in one sentence?
- Who is it for, and who should skip it?
- What are the core features and real use cases?
- Where can you verify current pricing and plans?
- What are the pros, cons, and limitations?
- Does it compare the tool against real alternatives?
- Does it show real screenshots or examples, not just marketing images?
- Does it clearly disclose any affiliate or sponsorship relationship?
If most of these are missing, the review was probably written without actually using the product.
Score it on these 5 dimensions, not just "is it good"
